研究领域:
本课题组主要从事植物发育生物学及合成生物学方向研究。
在植物发育生物学方向,利用比较发育生物学思维,采用多维度学科交叉手段,在位于不同进化节点的植物谱系中研究细胞、组织和器官的特化机制,尤其关注干细胞的命运建成和维持,同时关注侧生器官形态建成过程中调动的不同物理化学过程。
在合成生物学方向,开辟植物中的人工合成基因组研究,已首次在多细胞植物中实现约1/3染色体臂的人工合成与替换,为进一步开展大范围合成苔藓基因组计划(SynMoss)奠定了基础,也为深入理解植物基因组特性提供了抓手。
